For ease of reading, I ran your link through bablefish;
Turn signal mirrors

This topic has been discussed before and the main issues are that with the cover types, nobody is sure how "huge" your mirror will look. With the E-Class conversion, you have to purchase actual E-Class mirrors, and then find someone to mold the lenses into your stock mirror housing.
More than a year ago, ATLBrave did the latter, and it looked really nice, but if I recall the total cost was around $800. ATLBrave is long gone from this board, so the hook-up isn't available.

For the love of God, those side mirror covers for Aristo will not fit on 2nd gen. GS! If you want those blinkers, E-class is the only way to go for now.

well, my body shop did it for me for $600 painted. He used the lense from CLK, look perfect. I asked him the other day because i saw him have a spare set there, he said he can do it for the same price and also painted but you have to pay a extra for him to ship it to you first and after he recived ur he'll return the money.Am I making any sense? The mirrors is still in stock form (auto dimming, memory, defrost, power everything still works). The thing i like about it most is it long and look real not short lik the one in the pic IMO.

Default help with turn signal mirrors

so basically you are only using the lens part of the mb mirror and cutting you factory mirrors and fitting it in to place I want to be clear when I explain it to my body shop so they know they need to do and how to do it I know some one who is selling a-class mirrors for about $150-$200 but I know if I should use e class or clk mirrors any thoughts on which would look better. thanks for all your help

I have seen some better ones on a GS II on the main *** owner club site. They had the led benz style indicator, but also at the bottom of the mirror there was another bigger light, white looking, so it looked one better than the benz. Have a look for it it's worth looking.
