Default Question about adjusting coils.....

I plan to install my megan e-z streets next week. I don't have aggressive wheels and don't plan on maxing out the coils. I want to lower the fenders just above the tires. I want to adjust the shock body before I put it on the car. I already emailed Megan I ask here. Those with megans, how big is the gap between the spring perches and the shock body perch and how much drop do you have. I'm not pre-loading, so I just want figure out where the shock body needs to be to give the drop I want so I can adjust it all before installing. Trying to minimize re-installing because I will probably be installing alone.

If you want to go to the top of your fender all the way around....i think the gap should be about 3" between the shock perch and spring perch if my memory serves me correct. It's really easy to adjust the coilovers once they are on the car though to get the perfect height. No need to "reinstall", you can adjust up or down after they are bolted in.

You should double check/adjust preload though so that the springs are snug.

Also keep in mind...there really isn't a one size fits all answer to this question. You really need to just adjust a few times to get it right.
