Default Suspension inspection gone wrong

I did a full suspension inspection on my GS430 the other day. It all went wrong when I was spinning a wheel and caught my left finger between the wheel and caliper. In any case I had a question. First is it normal for the mounts on the UCA's to look like that? I haven't installed or inspected many but it seems like the upper mounts aren't quite right?

Everything looked good except the tie rod ends. The ball joints on them are totally shot. The upper and lower ball joints seemed fine but I will probably do the lower ball joints when I do the tie rod ends. I posted a video of the tie rod ends in another thread.

Last but not least I assure you that spinning a wheel by hand and not paying attention is a shockingly bad idea...

Actually it only hurt for a day or two. The nail will come off. I almost passed out though after walking in from the garage. The worst part is that I work in a client facing role where I wear full business suits etc so I am going to have to wear a bandaid over it for months so clients aren't disgusted...

working on car is a serious business. No short cut and no laziness - otherwise, smashed knuckles, loose parts, runaway wheels, etc...

I had my quirks when I was shaving off the fenders... i knew it was hot. I finished everything nice and clean, then there was one little edge sticking. I cut it off real quick and then i used my fingers to pull the tiny piece off.

yep, burn right though my finger like butter. brain lapse cus I was just finishing the last cut.

Yah, this was a one last thing too... I'm going to buy mechanics gloves for my next adventure for some protection..
