I recently swapped my license plate lights for LED's and I heard ur bulb out light will stay on if u use LED's due to lower output needed to run them. My city lights are not on was just wondering if and when do they usually run/turn on, mine will not even turn on with my HB lights, any info would be appreciated!

 

not insulting you in anyway.. But have you tried changing the ends of the bulbs.. since LEDs have positive negative.. Try swapping the sides... worked for me =D

 

searching will show that all you need to do is add load resistors on those wires and the indicator light will turn off. However, the light out indicator doesnt turn on for the license plate lighting... Check your brake or parking lights. I have led's on my license plate (in addition to the whole car) and my indicator light doesnt shine.

 

thats not what hes asking. and actually I dont even think I know what he's asking... He mentions 3 different things.

 

LoL @Mr! Yeah about that...sorry was posting from my phone. Guess my main question is.. should my city lights being running like DTRL's or just when highbeams are on..either way mine are out. And Sin..yeah i knew that about LED's also but i did not know that license plate lights will not set off bulb out indicator..thank Mr for that info. also.
