Exclamation Licence Plate Lights

I noticed the other day that the 2IS and LS460 have whiter lights for their licence plate at night. Just wondering if that's something of different light bulbs? Anyway our LS can swap for at all???Thanks for any info.

Those are LED's while yours are incandescent light bulbs. You can try to convert them to Polarg M4's, that what I did and they look pretty darn close to the LED's.

In my currrent car i swapped out a lot of my stock lights with LED's. It can be done. It takes a lot of work though. Probably the best solution would be to start with one of the new Lexus cars and see if it is a plug and play bulb. If not you might be able to order the new part and splice the wires.

How much did you pay for the lights? Part numbers?

i dont remember really but i will try to look for the bill and i will bring the part number with me next service. you need to make the space wider because it will not be as easy as it sound. but the result is nice.... it will cost you around 150$.
