Is this a common problem? This is the first time this ever happen to me. My alarm system still could unlock it but the switch inside won't work. What should I check first?

Try sticking your key in the keyhole next to the trunk release button and turn. Your knee may have accidentally pushed it in. That is all it takes to lock the trunk button....a little bump!

Hopefully its a simple fix.
