What do you guys think of an 01 gs300 black on tan. excellent body. but leaking rear main seal. 187,000mi

the labor is 6.2 hrs for the seal. I would normally do it myself but currently have no garage to do the work in. So is it still worth it including having to pay for the labor??????

Yeah. Kinda high but would be perfect for a gte swap (and good year too). But just wondering if 4500 is good. Also I guess I could drive it with a leaking main seal for a while. Its not leaking a lot. Just dripping a little. Paint is good body is good. Car still runs just leaks a little. Hmmm what to do??
if your plan is to ultimately do a gte swap why spend 700 to get the engine fixed now? If i were you i would either pass on this car... or you could buy it and just not fix it until you get the money for the gte swap
