Default Memory seats help

I was wondering on our 2gs if the battery terminal is disconnected and then reconnected will the memory seat settings stay the same for positions 1 & 2.

the whole system resets itself, you'll also have to re save your radio presets and all that jazz

Is it that big of an issue? How often do you go about disconnecting your battery?
If so, I believe there are devices you can use to plug in to supply power and memory during a battery swap.

Also I'm not 100% sure, but I believe things maybe stored differently in the newer lexuses to avoid this problem, so just trade in your car for a new lexus and that may solve the problem.

They sell a plug that goes into the obd2 port under the dash that hooks to a battery. It saves radio presets, don't know about seat presets though.
