Default I hope someone knows about this Problem!

thank god for this post!! ok so i have this same problem so here it go's i just installed brand new shocks, upper control arms and steering rack bushings so i thought now im good! yeaa right now i keep hearing a humming noise when i go over 40 mph which causes the steering wheel to violently hake and it shakes bad i also installed New break pads with all the hardware so i went and put the car on a lift and guess what the left front wheel feels like its locked!!! idk what this can be but the Bearing!! so my questions is, Is this problem the Bearing and if it is how much will a spindle cost me from Lexus because rockauto.com does not carry this item.

Check your Wheel bearing, also make sure that your brake caliper is not locked.

how would u kno if a caliper is locked

Take the brake pads off and see if the caliper piston moves in and out...or take the caliper out disconnect it from the brake line and see if you can compress the brake caliper piston easily. If it doesn't compress then your caliper is locked.

thanks and i hope thats not the case, and if they do move in and out then it can only be the bearings so i can either buy the hole spindle because i don't have a press to set the bearing in
