Question How to Reset VSC light ??

My VSC and VSC Off lights have been on ever since I bought the car. I replaced the ABS/VSC control module but the lights are still on. I'd like to reset the lights and see if they stay off (module replacement worked) or if they come back on (something else still needs to be fixed); however, I have no clue how to reset these lights.

I've heard it's possible ... anybody know the trick?

This happended to me aslo, If you look under the hood theres a gray diagnostic box. Use a paper clip & jump E1 to Tc then put the keys in the ignition, then turn keys to ACC then step on the brake 5-8 times rapidly and it should come off then beep. After that take the pin out start vehicle & drive it, to make sure everything is back to normal.

ABS/VSC Module? the ECU? did you run a Diag? Usually the 2nd Gen ABS/VSC problems have nothing to do with the ECU..I doubt jumping the E1/Tc terminals on port DCL1 will solve your problems..

If you replaced the ecu the system will need to be reset by the dealer or a lexus/snapon diag/computer tool. You can try the paper clip trick but I guarantee you that the lights will pop on.

No ... I never replaced the ECU ... I replaced the ABS/VSC module. Just trying to reset the VSC lights to see whether or not it was the ABS/VSC module that was bad. Thanks for the jumper trick ... we'll see.

UPDATE: I jumpered the diagnostics ports, turned the key to the ACC position, and rapidly pumped the brakes until the lights went out. Then the VSC light started flashing while the VSC OFF light remained off. The VSC light flashed 4 times, stopped, then flashed 3 times. It continued this sequence until I turned the key off and disconnected the jumper.

I assume this is flashing an error code at me. Any ideas what this means?
