So, for some nagging reason I think that my coils from Tanabe are missing something. Perhaps I am wrong or just paranoid considering the box was sent to me and had torn at one end.

The vendor who sold them to me isn't replying to any emails that is actually on here and Tanabe USA is of no support either. Guess who won't be getting my business further. I mentioned to both parties that my wrenches to adjust the height was not included and are missing, neither commented.

anyways, here is the picture for my coils, if anyone here can chime in and give me some insight or peace of mind that would be great before I have my car taken apart to do a install.

I am thinking I need to use my stock ones and that is why I think something is missing. It is basically a machined piece of aluminum. Then again, I realize that the rear is a bit different.

I think I should be fine after looking at this picture courtesy of Sewell.

Are those the fronts or the rears that are missing the top hats? Looks like the fronts.

It is the fronts now that I realize it. Either it looks like I should be ok. Just need my tires in so I can get it all installed.

Seems like you are missing the adjustment ***** for dampening. Front top hats. Which tanabe coilover is that?

I am not missing the dampening as I opted out of a feature that serves little purpose for the street.

This'll make them last longer too. I remember reading somewhere that constantly turning the ***** to make the ride softer and harder makes the coilovers wear out quicker.
