You might need to replace the OCV on the other side. I'm having the same issue. I'm getting bank 1 issues with misfires from 1 3 5 7. Based on forum knowledge that should be on the driver side. I replaced the passenger side OCV on the recommendation from all the threads I've read. Unfortunately, I am having problems figuring out what they mean by left and right side as its all based on perspective. I'm still having cel codes issues. So I am going to replace the driver side tomorrow when I get the part and I'll let you know if it solved the issue.

Your problem is the code you have is for the OCV on the passenger side. Thats bank2 in the V8.

Could take the picture of OCV on both sides on GS400'98 please? I would like to change on mine as well as for preventive maintenance before it through any codes. I thought the OCV is only on the GS300. Please, take the snap shot. I do not know where it located on mine. Thank so much for doing this.

Finally fixed my car!!!! Parkplace was on back order with my OCV. I have a GS400 and I had code P1349 and misfires with Bank 1, cylinder 1 3 5 7, etc. I replaced the passenger side OCV per the dealer! Didn't fix the problem. They told me the WRONG info! I had feeling since the odd numbered cylinder is on the driver side it should have been that side. But of course the dealer knows all, right?!?! After waiting a week for the driver side OCV I replaced that piece and my car immediately was purring like it use to and the check engine lights came off immediatly!

P1349(Bank1)= Driver sided OCV needs replaced
P1354(Bank2)= Passenger side OCV needs replacement

Good to hear you fixed your problem. Any pictures of the location and the parts, please? I need to replace mine as well. Just don't know where it's located. I am really appreciated if you do me favor by taking a snap shots, pl. Thanks in advance.
