2003 GS430 Pricing?
Sold my 2001 and now am thinking about buying a 2002, really miss that car. Can get a 2002 GS430 fully loades except for wood steering wheel for about $51,000 plus tax and other adds. I thought I read once that the 2003 were going to come down in price. Does anyone have any info on this. I would hate to buy a 02 andthen find I could of got a 03 for less. Thanks for any info.
I ordered a 350Z but I have had such terrible experience with Nissan I no longer want the Z. I didn't know how long it would take to sell the GS and I didn't want both cars but it sold real fast. So anyway I'm now looking to get another GS.
Hmmmm... That's the same deal I got a month and a half ago, which I thought was pretty darn good. It's not unheard of, but I would be surprised if Lexus lowers the price on the 2003 model. Most likely, they will make more of the "options" (which you, like I, found out are now mandatory) and roll them into the sticker price. Still, it will be a brand new model year car rather than a leftover, so I would expect dealers won't be willing to go so far below sticker. If you found a nice 2002 GS, go for it!
P.S. Someone here reported that the 2003 is going to have perforated leather. That just made me that much happier to have a 2002!

I was quoted under $50k for fully loaded 2002s with ML & Nav at Dave McDermott Auto Group (Lexus dealer) in East Haven, Ct. a couple of weeks ago. That was their first offer, without any negotiation.

Sorry, HDDeuce, I knew what you meant 'cause you're in the western region like me where the GS430 only comes fully, FULLY loaded right now. I was asking dipstick, because in the east region you can still get it without all the options.
last month this guy came in to the dealership where i work, presented an offer of $49500+fees( he did his homework) on a fully loaded gs430(msrp ~$56210), he got the deal....that was $1k over invoice....
Iceman, I was calling about a 2001 that had Premium, Nav, ML wood steering wheel, 17"wheels. He told me he had (I think) three "fully loaded like this" new ones in stock for $49,990 plus T&L. but I told him not interested in a new one.
Dipstick, is that a brand new 2001 or 2002? I assume you mean 2002 and that was a typo. Anyway, it doesn't add up to much, but you can still add (to the items you listed) a rear spoiler, wheel locks, trunk mat, cargo net, chrome wheels, black or gold emblems, and the integrated cell phone. Actually, I guess it does add up to a lot--a "loaded" GS with all those additional options would run about $7K more than what they quoted you.
Iceman - I guess I'll have to really parse my posts more carefully.... should I have said "typically loaded?" Anybody who pays $7000 for those options you listed is only getting what he deserves. We were talking about new 2002 models. BTW, that quote might have come from Kendall Lexus in Miami. I talked to them at the same time.
hi there, some earlier posts mentioned that lexus will cease gs300 production in late 2002 and lower gs430's msrp by a few grand. is this true? i've been thinking about getting a gs430. after hearing some supra owners experienced drop in msrp after they bought the car, i hate to be a repeated victim. thanks in advance.
