hey guys, i currently have a 01 gs3 and went to the dealer to look at used 01 430 listed at 37000 but was sold, sold the sale manager offered a 02 demo 430 w/ nav/lev sticker at ~53000...he offered 28000 for mine which has 32000 miles...he said he could swing major numbers but nothing specific yet he is calling me today with the numbers and monthly payment...i however dont want my payments to be too high...

i think 30k for mine and 44k for his is reasonable
what numbers do you guys think are reasonable for this deal

 

advice on the 02: another cl guy picked up a NEW, 02 msrp $56500 loaded..for ~$48xxxright at invoice..so ~$43-43.5 is more like it for the demo

 

A fully loaded GS430 for 2003 has dropped in price by $2,100, The invoice is around $46,500. Here in Chicago you can get a a GS430 for 2% over invoice.

The dealer "may" have paid more for the 2002 so even with the demo discount it may not be that great of a deal. There is a 2002 GS430 demo (White/ivory) available at McGrath Lexus in Westmont, IL the car has been sitting for at least 60 days.

It's a buyer's market.
