I Was Looking Around For Parts And This Came Up.

I Never Knew The Gs300 2nd Gen Had This. Does This Mean We Can Lower Our Stock Suspension!?! If Anyone Knows How This Works Feel Free To Comment...

You can check the bulb in the headlight. And you can tell by looking at the color of the light (HIDs are brighter and whiter than halogens)

Ooooo Kaayy ... was the original question answered in this thread? I have an '00 GS400 and because I'm about to replace some suspension parts I noticed this part too, but (I think) I only saw it on the left side. I didn't have a clue what it was and went a-searching on Sewell's website (thank God for them) and found the part and it's name and then found this thread. So is it for adjusting the suspension? If so how's it done? manually or by the on board computer? I'm soo confused!

LOL. SO easy. here are the Steps:

First, Roll your front Driver window down

Second, Stand next to the front driver window

Third, Count 1, 2, 3, and turn on your headlight, and run fast to your front,

Fourth, Staring at the lights, and you will notice that head lights will slowing changing color( warming up), if it happened as i said, then you have HID. if not, you are Effffed. ahhahahaha

Slow Cuz It's Low

Here's an easier one.

If you have yellow fog lights, you have HID's.

Thanks. I was talking to friend about this last night and just by saying it outloud, it hit me as how it was for the head lights. He's not a Lexus man, but he's more of a machanic than I am. Funny how saying it out loud sorts things out.
