Check Engine Light - 2 Codes, Please Help.

Hey guys. My friend's GS430 has these 2 engine check numbers on his car... could you give me the specifics of what could be wrong please? thanks.

He has WR Intake and Greddy exhaust

P0440
EVAP Emission Control System Malfunction

and

P0446
EVAP Emission Control System Vent Control Malfunction

does this mean the car thinks its going over the legal emmissions? please help out guys! thanks.

The P0440 always have something to do with some big leaks like loose gas cap. Make sure all the vacuum hose by the intake is hooked up correctly when he put WR intake. Good luck

Yep, I agree with VVT-I.. sounds like a loose gas cap problem. Try tightening the cap and resetting the battery. (This will erase all memory settings and the homelink controlls though).
