anyone got good pictures of the veilside badging
do they make rear badging?

how much are they and do they look cheap?
thinking about getting some

i've got a few of them...i will take pics and scan them if i got time. one of them is small...its thin metallic sheet kinda like the "platinum edition" lexus badges that are stuck on the front fenders of lexus cars. the others are bigger...i suppose they go on the rear.

 

i just scanned them. man i had to dig through my "car stuff collection" in my room to find these so i hope these are what you were talking about!! measurements: small one is 1" by 2 5/16", the big one is like 1.5" by 8.5". theres also this veilside window(?) sticker...i guess thats what its for.

why did you get them? how did you get them?

 

im looking for pictures of the badges for the front grill and trunk badge

those pictures posted are for the doors?
are they available from veilside, if so how much and who sells them?

i think the black long one is for the trunk lid. i believe they have another color variation of it. it's pretty heavy for an emblem. i'm not sure if there is a grill emblem, i dont remember seeing one. i got them in japan cuz someone i know needed help boosting sales of these things at his booth. yes, they are official veilside items, not knock-offs. anyhow, veilside had a whole bunch of these thingies for sale at the tokyo auto salon.

i just went through the veilside catalog and they dont have grill emblems for sale.

 

Heres a shot of mine...ithink this is what you are looking for.

They no longer have it available, I asked Ray at Veilside about it last week. I wanted to replace mine with a new one as some of the black has peeled. It is really nice if you're able to find one. Maybe try Rod Millen Motorsports?

Does anyone with the Veilside bonnet find that they get more engine noise? Because its only a lightweight one.

Please let me know as I'm cinsidering going for it.

 

Did it come just as a badge or with the grille? If it was a badge only, where do you get a quality grille from?

 

Hey Paradise...its just a badge. It is about 5" high.

As far as the grille goes, I've been looking for a 1st Gen grille that I like for a long time.

Also, Veilside only makes the bonnet for the second gen GS/Aristo. If that is what you have (I didn't read your sig) then I would go for it. Start a new thread, I know a couple people on the board have them and can give you better advice.

Thanks for that post, I really appreciate it, I bid for it on ebay and won! It's in the post to me from Australia at the moment, I can't wait to get it and try it on the front grill! Makes me want to get the whole Veilside kit and hood though now! aaagh! $$$!
