Disable immobilizer
I know its not a smart idea but where i live at its not likely its gonna get stolen with the keys in it. SO.. i finally lost my last key the reason i couldnt get another key was because my car was "unprogrammable" and the only way was to clone the transponder chip and get an extra fat key for it so i decided not. So i called lexus yesterday and its 250 to reflash my ecu 175 to tow my car there 150 for a new key and another 150 to get it programmed and installed. So instead of spending roughly $700 is there a way to disable the immobilizer system because i still have the key cut and rather just start the car with a regular key.
