When you park away from people, you really shouldn't find another ding in your door...unless a runaway shopping cart gets you UGH!!! That's the 2nd time in 2 months!!! It was just sitting on my LF door skin as if it belonged there!!! The last time it was my LR door!!!!

 

I find new dings all the time on my SBM GS300, it sux!!!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine finding a ding on an exotic...I live in Miami and I see all these people daily driving Lambos and Ferraris. I would cry if I walked out to my Scuderia F430 having a nice ding

 

Sorry to hear about this. I would be extremely pissed if I found a ding in my car. I haven't gotten one yet since Sewell took all of them out for me for free. (knock on wood)

i hate door dings too. since i live in the sgv area and so many asians! (im asian too not being racist.) they open the door so wide like they're going to have a race who gets into the market first. once i got my gs300 like couple days later, they scratched my door, couple dings, someone idiot hit my back left corner side rear bumper, paints all cracked and what not. it sucks.....

 

What's also annoying is when I take the time to park 1,000 feet from the nearest car, some moron deems it necessary to park in the space next to mine. Shopping carts are far worse though -- I've seen some of them do some real damage if you live in an area with hills like I do.

Fortunately, I have a friend in the PDR business, so dings are not a huge issue, other than the shock of seeing a dent on my car.

OP dont sweat it.. you will drive yourself nuts.. just get a good PDR person.

 

where i go to school parking lot is full people who just cant drive of park well, therefore i try to park away but somehow over the years i managed to get 8 dings, and it drives me NUTS!! Any time i get a chance to park far away i take it but that doesnt happen to often

 

that just sux...even though my car will be in the shop for work, i still get pissed when a new one pops outta nowhere...or when i find out that some idiot decided to wide open his doors and smacks my door to leave a mark.
