Default Big3 upgrade

There are little voltage lowering (below 13.5V) at a moment when engine cooling fan starts. One of the requirements of xenon ballast is the stable 13.5V. As far as i hear, oem grounding on gs2 is not good due to thin wires and contact oxidation (due to its age). So, big3 upgrade must help.
Have anybody installed it? Is there any improvement?
Thank you.

Lots of write ups done on this... by me

Trust me you dont need the big three. Our cars actually idle at 13.3v. Trouble doesnt start until you get below 11.5v. I'm running 2500watts system and 2 compressors for my air suspension and I'm fine Well for the most part

Oh as for improvements, yea before I replaced all my interior lights with LED's, the big three helped significantly with lighting inside I think you're taking the 13.5v "requirement" a bit too literal cause you cant keep a stable 13.5 volts it constantly changes during driving conditions.

Thank you very much, MrJokster.
I mean that 13.5 is minimal required voltage (mentioned on aftermarket xenon ballasts), as headlight blinks when fans start.

"aftermarket xenon ballasts"
theres another thread on here that is having a problem when using his turn signals. It not the power but two things first the aftermarket ballast brands differ Mine are perfect.
secondly if you are just using the plug and play kit with no additional harness you could be having this problem especially if the kit draws more power which it seems like it does.

yup thats a cheap kit for ya. I have aftermarkets in all my lights except the lows, I get no flicker and my car floats at 12.2v. Theres a relay kit for those hid upgrades (as mentioned above)

Wow, aftermarket hid's could be rather dangerous for oem harness. Very useful info. Thanks a lot.
