Default Car won't start!

Drove home from work and woke up the next morning trying to start my car but all I got was a click... tried it a couple times so I called a friend over to jump the battery. Even with with cables on and trying to jump it still would only get a click. I changed the starter the next day and tried it again! My dash lights went dim every time so just today I bought a new battery. VOILA IT STARTED so I turned it off and got ready to head out, tried to start it again and we're back at the start..

To sum it all up, when I turned the key my car makes 1 click. All the dash lights are on, radio goes on, alarm works, sub works, everything works! But my car won't start after buying a new starter and battery.

What else could be the cause of this? I really can't think of anything.

The only other thing is that the positive side of my battery can't screw on tighter once it gets to a certain point, but it doesn't wiggle where it is. It did start once though so I don't think that's the problem..

What could be the problem with it? Faulty? I bought a brand new one and put everything back in place the way it was previously.. 3 bolts 1 clip all back in place..
