Default What is that thing caled that protects the engine?

The piece of plastic underneath the car the protects the engine from water puddles needs to be replaced, but i cant figure out what it is called.

its called an engine cover, its 40 bucks from rock auto

i actually need to get one for my GS mine got destroyed by the snow last winter and i never replaced it, that thing is pretty sweet it offers a lot of protection

click on the year

click on Body-Exterior
click on engine cover

cool.. mine is all jacked up....is this an oem part ?? whenever someone buys it let us know about quality and fitment

The one underneath, on rockauto, is called an engine cover. I was thinking the same thing.

i think its actually called a under a under engine cover, can get it from sewell also if you want the OEM one....i dunno if the aftermarket one fits like oem quality or not, mine ripped off and i never put it back on

buy the one form rock auto ive been buying tens of parts from them with no issues there is no need to pay twice as much money for a piece of plastic, i mean if its that poorly engineered that it wont even fit then rock auto wouldnt even be selling it.

LOTS of companies sell parts that dont fit, dont fit well. im not saying this one does or doesnt.... i was just giving him another option. i was gonna order this from sewell then decided on rock auto for the price then just decided NOT to replace it. its all good whichever way you go OP
