Default Squeaky noise

Sorry for the naive question, but I hear creaky noises, more prominent when going over bumps. Do I need new shocks/struts or can I lubricate something?

Lastly, could it be something totally different?

could also be bushings worn out. you know like how your sneakers begin to squeak when they begin to crack on the inside

Your question like many other from CL members is so Vague, its hard to begin to try to help you. jack up the car, take wheels off, do some investigating, and post your questions, even better if it has pics. Or take it to a mechanic
At this point could be anything.

Balljoints were replaced two years ago. How do I get bushings checked?

gotta try to reproducing the sound while not driving, thats where you start. Once you can reproduce it, you can have yourself or someone try to narrow down where its coming from. Get a long hose of some type to use as a stethoscope to see where its coming from. I think it may be a bushing thing. But just a guess on a vague description

How to reproduce: which ever side its coming from, push down on the car and make it bounce to see if that will do it.

I have this, too! You can really heard the squeaking on a hot day when I pull in the driveway. Sounds like the car has arthritis and rubber is sqwacknig against something. On cool days it's not as bad...

I'm on stock shocks, Eibach springs...

Yes pushing down on the car creates the squeak

Heh...my car does this too.

Getting new shocks/springs installed shortly. Probably time for UCA's too.

sounds like the same problem im having...its the top hat strut nut/bolt..the one right in the middle, tighten it with a impact and push down on the side that is squeaking...

if it helps then thats the problem..i havent gotten around to replacing the nut itself yet so i dont know if its the nut that is bad...but give that a ****
