Talking Next generation GS

Does anyone have a clue what the new GS in 2004 is going to be like? I called the dealerships and they were no help, claiming it is too early to tell. Does anyone think a 5.0 L will be introduced.

My desire: Lexus GS500
5.0L engine
400hp
Lexus comfort, luxury, and reliability
0-60 in the mid 4secs
12 sec 1/4 mile

MOST IMPORTANTLY a lexus so called "AMG" mods (like Mpower, and AMG, and Audis S series)

Forget about it. We will not know about the next GS for another year at the earliest. At our last club Lexus BBQ a Lexus rep was there and said there will be more luxury upgrades than performace. Not to say it wont have more HP but anything over 330-340 HP is unlikley. There will be an AWD option but that's all he knew for sure and the price will stay the same.

4.3 liter will crank more HP.
Lexus will concentrate on electrical gadgets to further seperate Toyota and Lexus.

The next Supra will give us an idea what is in store for us....

Sure, 3 things.

Supra may go in the direction of the 350Z, i.e. cheaper and fast but missing some things.

Supra may turn into a full blown supercar with supercar price. 4.3 V-8 used in it.

A lil rumor of the SUpra being badged a Lexus, to FINALLY give Lexus enthusiasts a performance, factory car.

Also depends if the 2000GT comes out. IF it does, then it will be the 100k Toytota flagship and the Supra will go downmarket.

Side note 180hp Celica AND the 140hp MR2 are 25k loaded.

No definites dude sorry, I won't post pics cause they are so off it is ridiculous.
