Default Weird noise coming from dash area...

So the other day I was on the 405 when my 2002 GS430 started making a funky noise from the dash. My climate control servos have been making noise for a while now, but this sound was not the same as the noise they make. I had the radio up pretty loud and could still hear this noise. The best way I can describe it is paper hitting a fan. Its coming from the area of the passenger air bag. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I would appreciate any help.

lol...than MAYBE you have something in your blower wheel.

open the glovebox, remove the cabin air filter (replace if needed) and feel around for some paper/trash in the blower wheel...next i would blow some compressed air into the blower wheel and re assemble then see if you hear the noise still. if you need to remove the blower wheel, in my DIY on the servos i should you how to remove it

That is most likely the issue.

Sometimes debris will get around your in cabin filter and hit it...

If you want to know how to get to it, check out the DIY evaporator replacement and it will show you how to pull that part of the dash.

Good luck

Seems like a great idea, I have heard a lot about people using normal home furnace filters to construct cabin filters or any other types of filters, seems smart, and a good way to save money. I'm going to give this a try.
