im planning to do some mod to my trunk... it will similar to pix but better.. (i used window PAINT to edit the pix)... just some idea for whoever want to do the same...

better with inner light or without?

 

There are a couple of members who have already done the delete successfully. I personally like the inners. One member that comes to mind is "1swtgs". Search his threads. GL

 

on black it looks good.. on others not so good.

 

I think the inners are a big part of the GS' character. Starts too look a little to boring and lifeless without them in my opinion.

 

I had my inners covered with vinyl that matched the car...ended up taking 'em off. I've decided some things on the 2GS should be modded, some need to be left alone.

Too many cars don't have 'em, which is a good reason to keep 'em. They do make red, smoked, and clear LED inners if you really want to mod 'em...

 

yup, hit it on the nail... IMO its a distinctive part of the GS and removing them just makes it look like a early/mid 90's accord




at least with the vinyl covers you still keep the 'look' of it.

with those 98-00 tails the gs DOES look like that accord.

But check out Exluesive/RidesLow trunk. His looks official.

 

Personally, I think it would only look good if you have deleted inners, your car is moderately to heavily modded, and you change the stock tail lights out to aftermarket tail lights.

I'd keep the inners. Looks so plain without them.
