I recently replaced the taillights on the gs with the new 01 taillights but did not have the new wire harness for it. I found that all the lights match up except that the reverse light socket on the 98-00 model is bigger so it doesn't fit into the 01-05 taillight.
The dealer wants $55 a side for the wire harness!! so i went to my local wrecking yard and found these sockets off a 93 Camry that fit in there.
They are the side markers sockets within the rear taillight housing and fit tightly in there. so far so good for $5 bucks.i might throw some LED's in there if i need more light

Hey Lettuce! did not know u were on this forum. i searched on CL but did not see your COOL ride. They work fine thanks alot - you were right they update the look of the car and i have finally got the reverse lights in. Hope all's well with you
