Today on the way home my steering started getting sluggish. At first I thought I had a flat tire. By the time I got home (2 miles) I was having to crank the steering like it was my old 70s ford pickup. Fluid was ok. No whining at all, no leaks. Any ideas on whats wrong????? I searched but didnt see anything and also has anyone done a diy on replacing the pump???

 

Did you check the belt tension and condition? What shape is the pulley in?

 

Both were replaced last year.
