noise from the back

Hey. while im driving and i go over little bumps i hear a noise coming from the back... sounds like something loose is hitting something,. i thought it was my rear suspension, but i changed it out and put the new coils in. and it still does it.. its kind of annoying. sounds like maybe my mufflers are loose and shake everytime i hit a bump.. but i move it with my hand and it feels stable.. what else could it be? the sound, sounds like its coming from the middle of the car to the rear.

Read something on another forum similar. Guy said the problem ended up being rear transmission mount.

i had rattling sound in the rear too. Dumb me, found out my amp fell into the dip on the sides of the trunk and was bumping on it making it rattle.. lol

there are air vents in the trunk on both sides under the stock jack etc... they are notorious for rattling.

He said they had the car up on the lift and just looked at all the mounts, said it was pretty obvious. Noise he had heard was like a Klunk.

I'm glad that you found the problem.

Why did they remove the shields for doing a brake job? Is that normal?

yea im really happy i found the problem too.. and idk if its called the shield but its the plastic clip that holds the pads in place. so every time i was hitting a bump the pads where moving making noise.
