This was resolved.

 

you can get those special lug nuts that have a long nose. Thats what I did when I put the 5mm spacers in the rear. They taper into the lug whole of the rim so you dont need to get longer lugs Try that so you dont have to grind anything Good luck.

 

good 5mm spacers (h&R) should come with 5mm extended studs...which would fit over your centercaps because its extending the 5mm that the spacers are giving...

 

I had only one set of H&R up front with extended studs. Before I bought the matching set for the rear, I had those crappy ones you get for free from the wheel shops and used the extended nuts for those until I got the proper ones

 

what calipers are these? LS400? be careful not to grind too much.
