Default Wheel spacers and Big brakes?? need help!

Hello all. So I received my BBk for my 06' IS 250. Rotora 6 piston front and 4 piston rear. When we test fitted them , we noticed the wheel (19" PIAA super Roza) was hitting the caliper. We added a 8mm spacer. that worked fine for the caliper problem. When we wanted to put the lug nuts on, the were only able to get two turns out of it? So the questions are 1. Is it o.k. to have a spacer on ALL the time? (Rotora didn't recommend it). 2. Is it just as easy as getting a wheel spacer and longer wheel studs? are new lug nuts required? Or should I wait and see till I get the new studs on. Was going to go with a 10mm for more flushness. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

If you only got two turns out of your lug nuts that means the stud is stripped or you don't have extended studs on. Either way you will always need extended studs when running spacers.

I'm not a offset/spacer/fitment guru.

but heard project kics spacers are one of the best ones with built in extended studs.

10mm are not hubcentric, so 15+ only. ichiba's are just as good

anything more than 5mm need to get extended studs. I had a set of ichiba spacers and they were good quality and came with extended studs.

So I ordered Ichiba 10mm spacers version 1 which requires to remove old studs. I like the version 2 which has the studs attached to the spacer itself, but Ichiba only makes those starting at 15mm. I found out about Project Kics after I had ordered.kinda worried about the hubcentric ring. They are optional for the Project Kics, but not sure about the Ichibas. MothIS, im not worried about the spare wheel right now. Well, I'm getting them tommorrow. We'll see....

All Ichiba spacers hubcentric so make sure you find one that matches your car (60.1mm?)

I'd go with H&R spacers. They are made in germany and are top of the line. I use to have a set on my VW. VW has a huge following as far as modding your car goes. Everyone recommends them. They also sell extended lug bolts

and why didnt you just go with the 15mm spacers and save yourself the troubles? it more than likely would have made your wheels sit more flush lol
