Whats going on CL members, i'm at the crossroads of my gs300 life. I have a pearl white 99 gs300 and mostly everything is stock, but looking to do some good mods this summer. I have some 19 in. black rays from a G35, and i'm i was thinking of going for black roof, and black angel eyes HID's, tint the tail lights, the whole white/black look. But anther option was that i would be for me go back to silver/original color of the rims and mod the gs based on the color(white) of the car. I'm so torn between the two options, and this why your opinion is needed!
I've attached a pic with the black rays to show what the gs looks so you guys can get a feel for it.

 

keep the oem lights, angel eyes are ricey unless they are a real retro trust me people will flame. get an hid kit like 8k and maybe 3k fogs. get clear side markers and smoke those with vht niteshades. smoke the tails. black roof. murderrrrrrrrrrrr

 

I really like the oem headlights, but the rightside is really hazey. I got the left side clean, looking brand new but the right side isn't looking great. Either i'm looking for oem for HID's or the angel eyes. But i'm def, getting LED's for the tail lights.

 

get rid of the rims....they look terrible.

OP this is a car u will have to live with, doesn't matter what we think more bout how you will think bout it. i personally don't like tinted tails or the angel eyes. black roof is played out....get a CF roof lol

lmao....na i like the look the rims have on the car, but i would either keep it black or go back to the OEM color of the rim

 

Well, I think you know my opinion already @ Mikey and Brian... Angel Eyes, clear side markers, LED tails, and as B said, the rims will hav to go, try the silver first see how they look... Need a drop too! Oh and you forgot to mention you put on the led mirror covers Mike, they look sick IMO... I saw the car... He is up in coming guys!

i think BOTH of u mistook me. the ray's 19's are one of my fav non oem rims...
they forged,light weight, clear a BBK, and they look good IMHO

i have a pair... OP there is a link on here bout the center cap though. a member found a company who makes one to fit the lexus or there is also a post showing you how to mod the oem one to work with the lexus ones


also OP yeah a CF overlay or something.

 

Dont get me wrong, I think they look Okay, maybe it needs a drop for me to analyze and besides I saw it in the night time too... But as I said too, try the silver and see how it goes Mikey... Cool kid, that Mikey... lol

Start off by getting a new set of inners.

 

no just black the inners. no smoke total black pull the bulb then pull the dash bulb, people ask me what they r for all the time dont even know they are lights...i say they are reverse sensors. anyways, yeah brian was being sarcastic, those rims are amazing, get rid of them in the classifieds so we can have them. i would delete the center cap on them for toyota reasons....black roof may be played out, but we cant deny it looks good. also, carbon fiber roof would be ricey if your theme isnt CF..and it looks like ur theme is murder
