tungsten pearl is250 with... black?
i have a 2007 tungsten pearl is250 with an hks exhaust system. keeping it stock for a little longer, so no other mods right now. I wanted to paint my rims black or powder coat them, put black vinyl on my roof and black out my tails. i love how a white car looks when you black it out... would it look strange if i did this to my car?
if anyone has any pictures of a silver isx50 thats blacked out at all please link me to some pictures.
feedback? yes/no?

Hey buddy I've got a 11 TP F sport and the whole TP / Black thing looks smexey
The stock dark graphite rims are a perfect contrast to the sharp shiny metallic color so I imagine plastidip / painted rims would look tight.
I've also been considering doing my roof in matte or gloss black still trying to decide.
Heres some shots of mine to give you an idea of the color contrast

Going alittle overboard but most is gone now as you see above
and my favorite black mod

The roof brociouz posted looks good, but the the other stuff, especially the black wheels will look like crap, IMO - not enough of a contrast on a silver IS.
<edit:> ~ others have posted since I began writing my reply. It would be good to point out that you need to have other mods to round things out. On a simply stock looking car / wheels, it just doesn't look right to me - more like a really expensive Toyota Corolla...

if that were true then all combos are getting old colleen. every car on here is a cookie cutter when you think about it. There are only a hand full of kits, and color combinations that flow nice with the 2IS. IMO if you like it stick with it, even if someone says its "getting old". Not gonna speak for everyone on the forum, but i mod my car for my self satisfaction, not for others or to keep up with trends (kinda like how like everyones switching to concave from lipped wheels)
