has anyone ever had this happen to them? ever since i installed these lights(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT) my remote start hasnt been working. Everytime i attempt to start it, the hazards blink twice, then nothing. Any idea on what it could be?

 

whoa thats a new one, well are your lights working properly? brake, turn, reverse..ect? did the VSC lights come on, on ur dash, are all the LED's lit up? try putting the stock tails back on, than remote start!
i have remote start and some Ebay lights,dont think its related to the lights , but than again... who knows

 

THanks for the reply, but yea it may not even be the new tails, i just related it to that because it stopped working as soon as i installed em. Yea everythings working properly now (the lights). Had a problem with the reverse lights but fixed that and still nothing. The only new light thats on the dash is the missing or burnt bulb light indicator, and thats because i need to replace the bulb on one of the turn signals...ill try installing the old ones back and see if that works...

 

Yea, I dont think your tail-lights have anything to do with that... Unless you ran a wire straight from the brake wire at the computer where your alarm h/u is and didnt reattach the right way (which I doubt you did) lol... May be a problem with your alarm h/u itself... take it to an auto tech...

 

update: well i took my car to my homies a/v shop (the person who installed it in the first place, 3 years ago) and he found a malfunction with the main unit of the 50.5x clifford. The timing seems to be just coincidental, i guess. Oh well. I think its time to upgrade anyway..
