GS4 how do you get best launch?
how do you get the fastest times off the line? VSC on or off? E-shift faster than auto? will power ect mode effect E-shift at all? etc.... please help. so many different combinations i'm sure. i'm just curious to know which one is the best.

I think the best way to get a good launch is, TC off, power mode on, do not use E-shift, power brake at around 2300-2500rpm right before you start to spin the tires, if you do start to spin the tires them youve gone too far

Biggie's got it right... As you're letting off the brake, step into the throttle more until you're in passing mode, then punch it as you release the brake and the car starts rolling. Don't floor the pedal off the line, ease it down steadily as the car accelerates, otherwise you spin out quite a bit as the car struggles to gain traction. A short chirp indicates a perfect launch. I let off the gas slightly as the tranny is about to shift to ease up the load on the torque convertor.
