Default Fastest acceleration from a stopping point??

hi guys..can u help me with this...i want to know what is the fastest pick up from a stopping point...i have a GS400...do i leave the shift in Auto with ECT power off, or put it in manual and with ECT power button on?? im just curious ...thanks in advance for your experise info..

From a stop, it doesn't matter. Your car will start off from 1st gear. You'll want to brake torque to get the best launch you can get.

first of all i turn off my VSC then i just put it in auto and just brake torque it to like 1600rpm. hey lets go to the track sometime. Ennis anyone?

Give me a few weeks and I'm in. Car is down right now. I hope to make a 11 second pass once the car is back up and running again

wait thats not fair. we're gonna be like 3-4 seconds apart. lol.

how bout you take the altima and it'll be more even.
