I have the 98 tails and considering going to led or 430, any suggestions?? I like the stock look , nice classy not fixed up racer style, I see they have smoked led tails and regular, anyone lead in the right direction??

 

Even if u had led on stock it would look 'oem' as a lot of cars have red/clear tails from factory. Up to you. Doesnt matter

 

It all depends on what you like.

I've had Sonar LED's and after having a problem with one of the outers I decided to go to 01 tails and not have to worry about LED's going out. The 01's look much cleaner than 98's but I have to admit I've gone back and forth on whether to sell my Sonar inners or buy new LED outers. The reliability of the LED's has swayed me away from them, I've been meaning to put the inners up for sale one of these days.

 

i agree, i'd also go with the 01+ tails. could also remove the amber from your 98 tails to give it a red/clear/red look. only dude i can think of off the top of my head is 1SWTGS.

 

I rocked that look for a little while too, not a bad option either! There's pics around of those if you search for them.

 

I got cleared '98 tails, turned out pretty good. No pics available at the moment, though...I'm at work. Been meaning to swap these for LED tails.

01+Tails IMO look great.. try ebay, or GS classifieds...
