Old threads are fine because when bumped they give some new information to our members who may not have read them and it shows they're using the search feature (thanks) .
However in this case there are a bunch of other threads that Cin didn't run into in his search that talk about SRT stopping carrying their supercharger products for now (GS4) and only doing twin turbo setups which can get up there in $$$. They may bring them back, but not currently.

Wow..didnt realize it was a 2 year old thread! Would love to know how your car is doing now, after almost 2 years of driving with the SC!
i was at the SRT facility in MD and talked with Mo. There might be a chance of the SC coming back for the GS! Cant wait for that, if they do, im the 1st one getting it!

From what Mo told me personally, when they did have the SC kits, nobody was interested in them. He didnt have a lot of customers for the GS S/C kits, and so he decided to discontinue the whole line. Now he tells me that people are calling in left and right for the S/C kits I myself told him that as soon as he comes out with a package, count me in! Its awesome to see that so many people are interested in this. Maybe with this kind of interest, he wont have a choice but to come out with the kits again!
Not sure if Mo still reads these threads, but im gonna send him an FYI and let him know that a lot of people are interested in it. Hell we have 4 customers here already!
As for the Stages, im nore sure if its going to be like the way he had it before, meaning STAGE 1 , STAGE 2, STAGE 3, and a full blown out STAGE 4. Man i sure hope so! lets see what kind of a response i get back from him once i send him this thread!

I think I have convinced the wife that a vacation up the coast will be in order if the SC becomes available again...
I think I would need to be in the Stage 1 category though due to $$$ restrictions... but you never know...
I also would like to hear about the last 2 years with the SC...

Man imagine my surprise to see this old beast up here again...
To answer the question: The last two years have been incredibly uneventful. No issues at all. I change the oil myself pretty religiously with either Royal Purple or Mobil 1. I have changed the tranny fluid once with Toyota brand fluid (interested to hear how Dave's Amsoil "experiment" goes) and I'm about to change the rear diff oil again (after about 2 years) with Royal Purple 85W-140 for the TRD LSD.
The car hits the limiter on 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and "hangs" there unless I let off. Even so I haven't seen the tranny change performance (knock on wood) in that time. I don't let it sit on the limiter and not shift but otherwise I don't really baby the car either.
The car still runs a little lean at very light throttle applications in the 1.5-2K RPM range but it's done that since day one too.
Overall I'm most impressed!

mr. johnson, is your kit for sale???
i remember first joining this site and seeing your supercharged beast. Unreal is all i could think of. Its nice to hear no probs what so ever. btw is your car equipped with 3:23 or 3:76 gear. the royal purple is all i use and i love it, not a peep from the trd lsd with RP.

I'm a big fan of Redline fluid for the TRD LSD, although I've heard the Royal Purple is good too.
