WOW,,,,that was interesting...
Hey guys,,, so a couple of days ago, I carpooled with my friend to school with his car, BRAND NEW G37 sedan, it was raining hard, and to my surprise, his car felt like a paper airplane... it was almost scary in the freeway with the rain, he was going no more then 60 and it felt like we were gonna slide off the freeway... the next day I took my car, and props to LEXUS..my 2000 gs300 with 186K miles felt like much more solid.......just found it interesting that a brand new car is so rubbish
I read a thread in car chat about the G37 and the build quality just isn't there like lexus quality.. You would think that a car thats 10 yrs newer would be built better..not so. The GS is a solid car.. Well built in 1998 and ahead of its time

yup....I now need to sit in a current 5 series, cause I think I want a 545 or 550 as my next car,, no offense to the GS, but I want a sedan that is stick shift,,,,tired of automatic...any experience with a 5 series??
I've driven a 545i (e60) that is 6 speed manual...
I love it, feels nice, has power but its lacking somewhat of luxury feeling to it.
Now I'm not being biased but if I were to get a non lexus vehicle...
The 6speed 5 series wins.
