Default urethane or ABS for spoiler???

which material is more suitable for a rear lip spoiler? I'm going to get a sport design, low profile spoiler but wanted advice on which material is better. Or does it not matter? Price is about the same.

imo...both have its pros and cons.

urethane...fitment needs to be excellent or near excellent. it can be fixed to fit better. urethane is solid, so no chance of it flexing....paint adheres well to it.

abs....fitment can be off a bit...but since its flexible, you can make it fit. unfortunately, since its so flexible, paint sometimes flake off (in chunks). also, heat (on a nice sunny day) can warp abs and pop the tape off (I've seen it with my own eyes).

its a spoiler. urethane isnt needed cuz it doesnt take any damage. bumpers are urethane because they need to absorb some hits

My sound system cracked my OEM spoiler right down the middle and now little cracks in the paint are forming everywhere.
