Default Regular or Premium???

What do you guys use? Mine is stock and I started putting 93 octane fuel but is it necessary? I'm sure with some engine mod's it might be but what about stock? Also, just post reg or premium and I can tally up.

only Premium... Whether a car 'requires' it or not. Why put poopoo in a car and our car even states on the fuel door 'premium only'.

Also if you edit your post, you can make a "poll". At the bottom of the page it gives you the option so you dont have to tally

Hey thanks jokester. I'm sure you can tell I haven't used a forum up until a few days ago. I'm sure this will be a one-sided poll but maybe some folks think differently. Anyway, here it is.

You own a Lexus it deserves the best of the best premium all the way, also use open area gas stations big gas station I've heard that small gas stations pay of the drivers to put regular in their premium just something i've heard

I'll save you the time of the poll (there are a bunch out there already), LOADS of threads out there on this topic if you care to search I went to advanced search, put 'premium regular' in the keyword field and pointed at the 2GS forum. Here are a few of the results:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...which-gas.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...f-premium.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...emium-gas.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...t-at-home.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...emium-gas.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...emium-gas.html

And a bunch more if you care to search for them.

I'd suggest getting real familar with advanced search - just about anything you want to ask has already been discussed and you can get instant answers, no waiting

But it takes away from the fun of talking about it again! I get disappointed sometimes when I find what I want in the search function, cause I'm bored at home and want to 'discuss' but I cant cause theres too much good information on here!

premium all the way. this will avoid any pinging you get upon heavy accellaration. i did a test on my other ride way back then on my 4Runner. i got roughly 10-15 miles extra using premium gas on a full tank. plus roughly 30-35 more miles after installing my supercharger. how is this possible you might ask? to simplify... the vehicle is basically running more effecient. with my supercharger, i'm not pushing the gas pedal as much to get up to speed. it just goes with little effort unlike before. peace out

91 octane or higher.

unless you are boosted or running higher compression than stock.
