I am not surprised to hear/see how bright these Automotive LED bulbs are. Putco uses high power Nichia LED diodes for this 194 LED bulb and the bulbs are assembled right in the USA! Putco rates these bulbs to be 18X brighter than your stock 194 bulbs.

looks like a lot of cash/effort to make the drl's go led conversion...i have hid low beams and fogs on my 02....plenty of light for night driving on country roads...but the bulb out indicator would be annoying...gues i'll just run ricer blue bulbs in the drl...the toucan eurolites are blue glass but light up whitish
