Why dont you leave them on so people know you have a 400 instead of a 300? lol not to diss the other 300 guys, but I dont want people to mistake my car for a 300 :P

Because it looks cleaner without emblems. The "Lexus" and the "L" are pretty redundant and having badges on each side of the trunk disrupts the clean lines of the whole rear end.
Goo gone, dental floss, heat gun, and a soft towel will do the trick (possibly claybar if your emblems have been on the car a long time like mine were (10 years lol))
naw with my... i used a heat gun and a debager plate that we have here at the shop but under my badges the paint was chipped all around and you can still seee the LEXUS L GS 300 lol.... so i ended up sanding the whole thing down and repainted it...
Ah, yeah. You can kind of see mine, but only if you're literally an inch away and looking up from the bottom up while sitting on the ground. No biggie to me because you can't see it 99% of the time. Plus, it's 10 year old paint. I was expecting a lot of buildup around the lettering, but it's no where near bad enough to need to repaint or anything like that.
