Default i fixed my steering wheel shaking problem

so my steering wheel started to shake about 6 month ago when i drive 60+ mph on the freeway. espeically when the road was not smooth. at first i thought it was an old steering wheel bushing. but last week, i noticed one of my tires have very bad postive camber wear (my car is stock). so i went and did a 4 wheel alignment. after that, my steering wheel doesnt shake anymore on the same freeway that i drive on a daily basis. so hopefully that helps someone with the same problem.

Already tried two wheel alignments to solve mine and it didn't help.

Glad to hear it worked for you though!

mine shakes at 60+ as well but i know i need one of my rear tires rebalanced, you might want to check your tires to see if there balanced right.

From my situation, it was a bent wheel and the rest of the other wheels were not balanced properly. Using sticky weights are hard for some technicians. So they tend to don't care and put too much because it's not balanced correctly in the first place. Hope that helps.

Believe me... I've been through it all, even road force balancing and none of it solved my problem.

i had shakes since i bought my car 6 months ago, tires are shot, and wheels are off balanced. i constently put air in them which makes the shaking go away.

FYI
The shaking comes from the wheel being off balance. It is only balanced on a dead straight axis so if the wheel goes off its axis while driving which they all do the shake becomes more pronounced. If any suspension parts are worn it makes it even easier to feel. With the alignment the wheel is now rolling straight so it is not multiples by having toe or camber to multiply it beyond the suspensions absorption qualities .
So you still have something off balance .
