I believe there is a little black box in the trunk that you can modify to turn off the "lights out" in dash, i read it somewhere long time ago when i got my led taillights.

ha ha, naw I new you werent being mean IIRC yes I'm using the exact same bulbs for the rear as the front however depending what year your GS is the size/type of bulb may be different. (meaning the connection from behind) I did have a slight issue when installing cause the bulb was almost the same size as the opening where it was to be installed. and the bulb with the flat connector in back was a bit loose so when I went to install it, it fell into the housing the load resistors I used are those golden looking ones that i posted on first page, I got them from VLED's I riveted them on to the body of car as to not have them touch anything that could melt or catch fire HOWEVER I highly recommend getting those ceramic ones you can get at kragen. Those gold metal ones got hot pretty fast even when its only on the blinker weird. The ceramic ones stay completely cool, and they are MUCH cheaper than the fancy metal ones. As for install, you can see the install pic I posted and which wires to use (for the rear). each side of the load resistor goes to each wire, one to ground the other to signal wire. The fronts are easy since the wire harness goes straight into the bulb. it was just a matter of using a tap connector as to not cut the factory wires.

its coo:

Front turn signals: 1156

(I have an extra set if you want them for a bit less )

Rear Turn Signals: 7443

Those links are for all the types they have, its just a matter of choosing which ones you want, I recommend getting the smaller ones that have like 24 or 27, I dont think the 48's fit, the lens housings are shallow. ALSO, if you have the Headlight Housings that came with your car, then those front ones should be fine, I had forgotten that I had bought a new set of headlight housings for my retro fit and didnt know they changed the bulb in 2003 kind of a weird change in middle of production, anyways thats why I have an extra set cause VLEDS charges like 20% restocking fee

Well I bring up about the bulb change because my headlights arent the ones that came with my are thus being irrelevant, thats why i have an extra set, I found out that between 1998-2003 the front turn signal are the 1156's then in 2004 they changed to 7440's. I bring up all that info because you need to find out which you need.... I went to your page and shows that you have a 2001 (which I dont have, I have '04 heads) (I ramble on a lot, but most to all the time its for a purpose) so what you need are, 1156 for your front turn signals and 7440's for the rear turn signals.

I'd double check though that your front turns are these bulbs:

and these for the rear:
