Default void warranty

I want to replace my stock air filter on my 1999 gs300 but was wondering if that would void my warranty.

I want to use the "RMM Sport Intake System & Heat Shield". anyone have this or can make suggestion.

I can only chime in on, before you get the RMM set, take a look at the Weapon-R dyno test

Link to Weapon-R dyno test

edit: I forgot to add, welcome to the board. I'm sure you will find all your answers.

edit2: aha...found some more answers when I did a search

Basically, call your dealer and explain the situation. It seems it is dealer by dealer case of whether the intake will damage any OEM parts. I believe it DOES NOT void the warranty, but you never know how **** your dealership might be.

Good luck,

Ethan

Thanks for the info. It seems that everyone on the block wants to race me. I wish I paid more for the GS400.

Well, there are superchargers out there and turboes.

Area 51 Fabrications makes superchargers. Everyone who has purchased one has been very happy.

Swiftracing too makes superchargers. Give Mo, the owner of SRT, a call.

Be sure to browse through the threads in the GS forum...you will know all there is to know about your GS3

well, as far as JUST the air filter goes, it can't void the warrenty because congress passed a law saying unless your car manufactuer provides them 4 free, they can't void your warrenty over the sue of an aftermarket filter eliment...

(i apologize 4 my spelling -- I've got a cast on my dominant hand)

Thanks

There is no distributor of those products; therefore, you cannot buy those products locally. Products for Lexus aren't made on a grand scale.

Hence, the only way to order it is by calling them directly.

RMM intake sucks. I have it and it doesn't do anything except sit there and suck air like a stock airbox.
