Hey guys great site,i picked up a 2002 gs430 a month ago and got the mod bug like crazy.Hoping to get some ideas/knowledge of what works best for my car it's White on Black hoping to start off with wheels and coils? any recommendations I def want to do a 20inch staggered set What are good brands to seek?

 

TEIN are the most common coils, rims are your preference. If you're into it since you're white on black you can get the roof painted/vinyled black, I think it really sets the car off. If you want 20s, make sure you know how low you want to go, and what tire setup you're going to run. Thin tires means no long distances / bad roads. Could damage the rim pretty easily. There are a bunch of threads on here about tire/wheel fitment. As far as size, 20x8.5 front 20x9.5 or 10 in back should fit nicely

 

how low you wanna go?
im running Stance coilovers and its very smooth and drops the car low
20s are too big imo. i'd go 19's and slam it.
are you vip style modding or no?
if so, i'd go with 19x9.5 and 19x10.5
that be perfect!
btw, white on black is NICE

thnx for all the reply and advice.I know I want 20's and want to go with as little fender gap as possible,that's why I want coils.I'm leaning toward a more classy/luxury look with a dash of VIP if that makes any sense? Think more like the Lowenhart ads you use to see
