Default Cheap Mods/Hidden Features?

Any info you guys have about cheap mods for the GS. Also, hidden features like the PWR button that adds speed or things like that.

it is the PWR-ECT button located near your shift stick. It modifies the computer to hold shifts longer and gives you added power/speed

Yeah, thats what it does, as I've heard from numerous people. I use sometimes and yes, it does add speed. As for gas mileage, I've never kept it on for enough time to see it effect my gas but I guess it lowers your MPG but I dont think by much, specially if you only use it once in a while.

it just changes the shift points and tranny sensitivity.. doesnt add power.

maybe it adds power cuz it rides the gears longer but doesnt add actuall WHP power.

It will only make a difference if you floor your car. When flooring (non ECT) you will up shift from 2nd to 3rd gear @ 4500rpm, while with ECT ON it will go until maybe 5500-6000rpm before up shifting, thus giving more acceleration per gear.

THE RPM NUMBERS I POSTED ARE JUST EXAMPLES, not the real numbers, just examples.

It makes somewhat of a difference. As previously stated, it doesn't add power. Just remember that these cars memorize the way you drive so if you drive your car hard it will memorize that and change the way the transmission shifts.

In the owner manual the power-ect button says it gives it a more of an aggressive acceleration and it does lower your mpg but not by much. I use it very seldom.
