Default Farewell Everyone...

I'll get to the point...

My car was a total loss...I am so depressed...

$25,000 in damage

the frame was totally twisted in the front and really bad in the rear
the roof was bent
the trunk floor needed to be replaced
the rear suspension totally shot
the rear drive axle cracked
the front suspension totally shot
radiator gone
headlight gone
rear taillight gone
extensive body damage all over the car because the frame warped the body (doors, hood and trunk wouldn't close right)
2 HRE's gone beyond repair

that was just a "little" list the shop gave me...

Well guys my work here is done....Thank you Clublexus and Thank you Lexotic Concepts for all of your hospitality.
I unfortunately won't be going to any shows or any meets this year. I am done...I am done street racing...I am done showing off...I am done...

I Thank God I am alive and i'm going to take my life and "run".
I Thank God that Jay is not hurt. (How are you Jay by the way?)

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and their prayers.

The DIY King is now retired. I pass down my crown to GlobeCLK(from Clublexus)

Well, Farewell Everyone...

Joe...

First off, I would like to say..."Thank God that you are OK and able to walk away."

Man, I'm really sorry about what happened. I know what you mean though, once you see yourself walking away from a wreck, it's like a reality check that life is a lot more precious than you thought.

Damn! Sorry to hear about your loss, but your health is always important. With all that damage, it's good you were able to walk away.

If you dont mind me asking, what happend?

Joe,

Can't believe you're leaving us. We'll miss our DIY king.
Just hang around here even you don't own a Lexus any more.

Any plans on what ride to get next?

yo joe,
man i am realllly sorry to hear of the crash,it seems that you are ok though, this is very good. i know exactly how you feel, if you remember i told you about my crash at 130, so i know what it feels to think that you have escaped with one, and it leave's thinking, how the hell did i escape. after mine, for about 5-6 mths i was contented to drive at 30-40 mph, then i got the GS, i still have not gone back to my old habits, but i now look at live in a very different way.Rejoice in the gift of life my friend, live it to it's fullest but remember you only have one life to live. we might not meet again but i'll never forget you since i still have the radio you sold me
clive.

Hey Joe,

Regardless of what happened, someone is watching over you and your friend Jay. You walked away from a potentially fatal accident. Life is a precious gift that He has given to us. You have been given a 2nd chance. We all make mistakes in our lives. I am pretty sure many of us here will learn from this unfortunate event, including myself. You make us here think twice before we put our lives at risk in our cars.

Car can be replaced, our lives cannot. Take care yourself, Joe. You will bounce back. I hope everything will work out okay for you.

Hey joe, really sorry to hear what happened. Sorry to hear what happened to your car, but at least you're okay and that's the most important thing.

hope you can still drop by when you have time. DIY king will not be forgotten!

you take care!
