Grinding Noise
Hey guys, there's a grinding noise coming from the front of the car when I slightly turn right while driving. Anyone know what this and how to fix the problem? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Doubt it's a ball joint as if it's grinding, most likely it is something that rotates so I would check out the wheel bearings as it could be the beginning of a bearing going bad. Another thing to look at is your brakes and if they are close to replacement.
If this grinding occurs, does speed affect it?
It seems that I have something similar on my SC430 (which shares the same chassis), but I only feel the grinding when I make a sharp/fast left turn.
It also makes the shifter rattle a bit...

by checking this, jack up the car and put your right hand on top (12 O oclock) position and your left hand on the bottom of the wheel (6 oclock) then wiggle that chit up and down to see if it has any play... if it does then your screwed...
buy a new engine haha jk get it replace then you should be good
